| my, my... how so many things have changed. now to return or not to return is the question... | | |
| it's hard to believe that i'm officially in my mid-twenties today... a whole quarter century old. it doesn't feel any different yet, but it just means that i'm just that much closer to being a real adult and actually having the so-called "quarter-life" crisis this year. i can't postpone the inevitable (growing-up), but i can postpone the crisis to later on in life... say mid-life. hahaha. we'll see what happens...
alrighty that's all for now. happy birthday to me and hopefully i'll update again, sooner than later. =)
| so sue me, i'm not really a planner. there's always next year. | | |
| almost the new year and the last time i updated was almost a year ago. yikes! anyways, nothing much has changed since then, except that work is my life or rather, life is my work, which ever way you choose to look at it. i've been told that i need to be more selfish (in the good way) and learn to enjoy life more; so perhaps that'll be a few goals on the list for next year. it's funny, i looked at the last few posts that i've made over the last 12 months and i "xanga-ed" my resolutions for 2006. ironically, i can honestly say that those resolutions can still apply for 2007. i don't really know what to say about that. regardless, i'll leave my last post for 2006 with this, though it might be talking about Christmas last weekend, it surely also applies to this weekend (with the exception that i went to work yesterday): "Whether or not you celebrate Christmas, most likely you've got the day off this coming Monday. I hope you'll spend it doing as little as possible. Forget the email, the IM, the RSS feeds, the Google searches, what Wikipedia has to say about the origins of Christmas, installing that latest Firefox update or running a defrag. Unplug and enjoy. You made it through another year and you're wiser, more experienced and best of all - you're alive. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done, spend some good quality face time with the people you love, and have a very merry happy festive unplugged weekend. We know we will. Happy holidays to you and yours from all of us here at Lifehacker. Back on Tuesday."
here's more to look forward to in 2007! happy new year!
